LB/Sydney Named NSW Agency of the Year at B&T
Leo Burnett Sydney walked away with the title of B&T NSW Agency of the Year 2011, beating out stiff competition including Clemenger BBDO Sydney, DDB Sydney, M&C Saatchi, The Monkeys and WhybinTBWATequila. With entries up 12 percent from last year and a total of 297 submissions received, this was the most hotly-contested category at the show.
More than 60 judges assessed this year’s entries, and while Leo Burnett Sydney’s work was described by the judges as “fantastic,” it was the agency’s passion that won the award for them. Judges said that Leo Burnett’s commitment to fostering agency culture played a large role in their decision, and Todd Sampson’s robust five-year plan for the agency was described as impressive and forward thinking.
